You're basically your own pet, and you run around in expanses and collect materials and do missions and stuff and now with the season pass they add, missions can be done and earn items for doing so. Like limited avatars and clothing/furniture etc.

Technically I play feral but it is not even remotely optimized for bad internet so I have literally three days a month I can play it without lag so bad I can't play

Fer.al is a game separate from the interbutts. So it has a launcher and all that. It's a 3D game you run around in. It's really pretty and runs fine for me.
