"I mean, I know that they've sat and chat before, without issue." She continued before shaking her head lightly and meeting his gaze.

"I think it's .... his acquiantances... that are the issues."

".....hm." he mumbled.

"I see." he said.

"If this is so... then it's very worrisome, indeed." he commented.

"For Izea to be sensitive to... well... them... opens up SO many new hypotheses for this." he went on.

"Do you think SHE'S some sort of conduit as well?" he asked.

"I can't say for certain, however." She added.

"But it really does seem like she is, in connection, to some extent." She paused a moment before sighing lighly.

"However, I don't want to put either of them through that again to definitely prove it." She admitted.

"I don't think it's fair to either of them, and Levi's already not happy with this. He honestly seems a bit deperessed."

"Loathe as I am to admit, I really do think it would be best to try again... even if I really shouldn't." She then said, weight to her voice.

"However, there... really isn't anything that can be said or done about it, I don't think." She added.

Angela was silent as she looked back toward him.

"... I'll keep that in mind." Was the last thing she said before heading off, leaving him alone for the moment, and knowing that she needed to get back down to the medwing.

A few hours later, Angela sighed as she hang up the phone. She'd just called Levi, asking him to return... and she knew he knew why.

She just hoped that he didn't hold this against her.

After a few minutes, Levi showed up.

And he did not look impressed. He wasn't angry, but had much more of a resigned look to him now.

"Okay. I'm here." he said.

"Let's get this over with." he told her.

"Where's Izea?" he asked, looking around.

"...and yes, they're still not shutting up." he then told her further, letting out a heavy sigh.

Angela sighed, heavily before motioning to the room that Izea had been in before, same place that he'd gone before.

"She... probably already realises your out here, for that matter." She added after a moment or two, a heavy toine to her voice. It wasn't hard to Levi to tell that she really hated asking him to do this, but also knowing that they needed to know for certain so that if there were any precautions, they could actually be taken.

She didn't meet his gaze though, but that wasn't really surprising. She hated this, hated making this request.

"..." Levi was silent, before looking to the room again.

"Okay." he said.

He then made his way to the door, grabbed the handle, and stopped.

"...I'm sorry, Izea." he muttered quietly, before opening the door and stepping in.

Which resulted in the exact same result as last time.

Levi didn't even rush towards her this time, he just turned and left.

"The sooner I leave, the better for her, right?" he asked Angela.

"No. She'll be all right with that." She then said, sighing heavily.

"Are you all right, though?" She asked, concern to her voice.

"I know. I just... I know. I wish I could help, but everything that we've tried ... nothing's worked to suppress them enough to give you peace of mind, nevermind someone else." She commented.

"Is there anything at all I can do to help your mood at the moment?" She asked, her voice curious.

"I mean anything at all. I feel bad about this and kinda feel like I need to make i tup to you."

"There's nothing to make up for." he said.

"This is just... an unpleasant discovery in my life." he sighed.

"Just... tell her I'm sorry, okay?" he asked.

"I'm sorry that she hurts because of something that... is essentially my presence." he lamented further.

"I wish I could just turn this off." he then muttered further, some venom in his tone.

"I hate that they've just cost me a friend."

"Don't be so sure about that, Levi." Angela commented.

"You, yourself, have told me that you and her have sat and eaten lunch together with no issues." she continued.

"I... think it's just on the days that they're particularly vocal, so to speak, that it affects her like this." She didn't know if what she was saying would mean anything, but it was definitely something that she thought might help.

"I don't see why you two have to nix a friendship. Besides, it... actually might do her some good to be around it anyway. If it's them causing it, then she should try and possibly, maybe? build up a resistance, if that's possible." She paused here before continued with a heavy sigh.

"Although I have no idea WHY she's affected as she is."

"But it seems that they now effectively control this potential friendship." he then growled.

"Oh well." he said with a defeated tone.

"...though, her reaction to them IS something I've never experienced or seen before." he then admitted, his tone more quizzical now.

"The best I can say... is that maybe she's some sor tof conduit adjacent?" She asked, knowing that he wouldn't know the answer to that.

"I can't even hope to guess what is going on aside from that at the moment though. That's just a preliminary guess." She paused a moment, thinking.

"Although... honestly, even that makes no sense. She's a goblin. goblins shouldn't even have mana."
