I cannot claim the credit as mine. It is actually a song I heard recently. When it came on....bam ....Right in the feels.

Recently a friend came to me for advice. They were down and heartbroken. Fast forward...they began to talk about how they'd never feel that way about anyone else. It surprised them when I actually agreed with the statement.

You see, in my opinion, you can love a million times over but you never love the same and feel the same way twice. There will always be others but each time you love a little differently, each time it is just a little bit different. This song reminded me that the converse of that is also true. Each time your heart breaks it will hurt, but all broken hearts have been and will be broken differently because we loved differently.

*steps away from the podium* lol

@LilMissKushy: hugs. A majority of the music I truly love, is the music that isn't afraid of "going there" with the lyics. I am so sorry to hear of the end of the relationship. 11 years is quite an investment. Whether it was for the best or not, you still need to allow yourself time to grieve the ending of that chapter. If ever you wanna talk, feel free to reach out.

@LilMissKushy: i am sure it is quite liberating in some regards. Try to keep focused on the positive. Don't think or feel that you have to act or react in any specific way because of it. Your process is your own so own it and ride it out. Take all the lessons you learned and apply them. Most of all though, don't ever let it kill your drive or your passion and don't let it keep you from going out and loving again. Love more and love harder.
