@Wildfire: yup. and im still very upset they left us high and dry.
and instead lectured us on how we live and how much sugar we eat[which btw we didn't really eat a lot of it].

so im not looking forward to the whole "we're here for you"
but only if it's covenant for me...

but until my laptop fully kicks the bucket i will make the most of it.
My friend yesterday was being too nice and was like "I WILL HELP YOU GET IT"
So that made me less stressed.

but i have a mini laptop i can use. only problem...it only has 21 GB on it...so the space is so limited...
but i will make the most of my art with my current laptop.
I recently made a very personal piece that is due to a skin condition i've had for over a decade.
so that was a really fun piece to make.

@MoodyB: Awww - you have a good friend there :3 I hope you don't need to take her up on her offer, but it's nice that she did offer! I'm glad you're doing well, all things considered - it certainly sounds like you're at least being productive with your art

@Ava: For what it's worth, I think it's important to follow your heart and pursue the things that make your heart sing! But I also think that it's not a bad idea to come up with a Plan B either. The thing about pursuing the Arts is that you never know where that line is - your next audition could be your big break!! Fortunately for you, you seem to have support for pursuing your passion so that takes some of the pressure off of "living" :3 ... but maybe taking a class or something isn't a bad idea either?? I wouldn't change anything, physically. Acting and art is sooooo subjective - there will always be criticism of one kind or another, but at the end of the day, you can only be yourself. And there are FAR too many "Barbie Doll" types in acting... and I think that trend is changing to incorporate more "real people" than the stereotypes...

@Wildfire: yeah i hope not lol. but i suppose time will tell. But it was super kind as she knows art is the only thing that truly makes me happy.

yeah. recently i began studying how to go about painting hair so even if i cant fully paint i can at least study it and learn it.
i usually experiment new techniques with my already finished art.

@Ava: You seem to have a good head on your shoulders and I really hope you make it in the acting realm! <3
And no, I disagree with those people telling you that you have to change or that you'd do "whatever" your manager at a regular job would ask. There are limits, boundaries, and other factors in play, and none of them should involve changing yourself permanently or physically. It's one thing to put on a uniform for a job, for example, but another to dye your hair purple because the manager loves the color purple (bad example, but I think you get my point).

@MoodyB: That's a good way to look at it - do what you can, learn what you can, while your computer is being unreliable... then, when you have a more reliable computer to work with again, put it all together and hit the ground running, so to speak!!!

@Wildfire: Definitely! I've lately just been watching youtube videos but on the slowest setting
so it plays slower so i can see how to do hair. Hair and skin and blending it out
is mostly what i am stuck on.

For now i may just have to stick with simple art.
But my friends definitely think once i get a new pc i will be unstoppable
as they know i can do so much but with these limitations it's restrictive.

@MoodyB: sometimes, being forced to go really slow when learning something ends up giving the best results when the restrictions are removed. I'm sure that will be the case for you!
