man, idk if y'all watch art vids on youtube but I appreciate Kacey Golden's stuff. you don't need to make super realistic or complex pieces to "have an excuse" to use a variety of materials and mediums. either way, what you make is gonna be REAL GOOD art just because no one else can do it. you put a piece of your passion into something the world can see and it's beautiful

depends. if it's a larger more finished style piece, i mask the line art layer with approach spot colors. but in this case, i just mean coloring the line art in the standard sense

@ghost: hmmm not sure. the way i do flats is a pain and hugely time consuming because pixel perfect edges and all that, but once i get to the gradient step, it's pretty easy going
