@Wildfire: depends; sometimes i do colors; or a specific item, other times it's a theme. i currently have one that's using grape and shortcake combo, but it's been a struggle finding items with those colors and not other colors XD

@Vixen: Oh, I bet that's a tough combo to put together! It seems like you and I approach avatars similarly. It just depends on what I feel like doing at the time - sometimes that's using a color scheme, sometimes it's trying to use a particular item, or sometimes it's a theme I have in mind.

@Wildfire: eh we'll see. i have the hair and hair pieces mostly set, so now need to figure out the bodice... i'm again running in to the issue of no suitable leg mods or long/full skirts that fit

@Wildfire: ...yes. i like leg mods since it extends the leg / adds motion; but mods always have set color schemes, so not as easy to match with unusual color combos. and also the avatars in generally are top heavy here, so i like adding more visual weight around the legs/feet, usually as a dress or something for visual balance

@Vixen: Oh, I understand and I agree with you. There are a lot of times I might be playing with the avatar and end up scrapping it just because I can't get the top/bottom balance or overall dynamic aspects of the avatar to work to my liking.
