My current fave treat is a sponge pudding from Aldi, it's vanilla sponge filled with golden syrup, and we have it with instant custard. I am going to have some tonight in fact :D I am weak for golden syrup.

Mine are macaroons the french kind. I have had sweet strawberry and apple cinnamon one. I really want to go to a macaroons shop my friend told me about. She said they have over 50 flavors but covid hit and i haven't been that way since.

@sunny: there so tasty. they have a crunchy outside on the cookie and very airy inside and then between the two cookies ... well its not quite a cream but it's kind of like the cream in the oreo cookies or they have a jam like filling. Very tasty i had the ones at my work but iw ould love to try the ones from the shop

@MoodyB: well it's not super sweet. Its like an apple lie with out rest it's just uses brown sugar instead of white sugar

i just keep spiraling.

I also have to keep busy so i do art constantly.
But sugar throws off my mental illnesses by a lot and sparks up my anxiety as well.
It's mostly things with powdered sugar tho im super sensitive to.

my latest yummy sweet treat was this delicious crepe cake. i think it's 20-30 layers of super thin crepe (matcha flavored) with lightly sweetened creme between each layer and topped with a dusting of matcha powder and powder sugar. very light and elegantly sweet imo.

I'm SUCH a fiend for baked goods, but my go-to tends to be a chocolate croissant. It started when I was a kid and my mom would take that canned crescent dough and stuff chocolate chips in the center before baking. And now if I go to any bakery that's new to me, if they have a chocolate croissant, I'll have to try it. I'll most definitely eat other things too, but I always fall back to chocolate croissants.

I hate choosing favorites because my taste changes a lot, plus I like different things depending on my mood.

Right now I'm really into this strawberry-banana jello salad that I made for Thanksgiving and still have some leftovers from. Normally my grandma makes it every year, but this year we stayed home so I made it myself (with minor modifications) and it's soooo good.
