Apparently this is a thing.

I guess that means that you didn't put out your butter turkey either then? Well, you can always get on the ball with the trend next year. A good way to start off your Easter too with a butter bunny!

First time i've seen anything like this :')
Well this is unusual, and very weird. There would probably be some strange conversations at the dinner table with either of these! "Hey Auntie, can you pass me the butter turkey? I want to chop off its head". The tree just looks gross and would probably fly across the room if anyone tried to use it.

It looks like that is either the optimum shape for butter retrieval , or the absolute worst... Either way, its the only christmas tree I'd allow in my house.
hmm since I come from a house where butter is kept in the fridge
this would never see the light of day haha

I'm pretty sure they have butter lambs for Easter? I don't personally buy any butter that's not shaped like a stick but I've heard of these lol.
interesting XD i dunno what i would do if someone from my family showed up with one of these bad boys......
bloop
For the record, I've seen the butter turkey at the store where I work over Thanksgiving.
There's something foul about the air here...
Oh no! I almost forgot! Gotta always make sure to set one out or Smördjur will drink all fizzy apple juice and eat all the holiday cookies :viodead:

@Nephila: Yes, this is from America. I've never bought one of these sculptures but from what I understand is that they're popular in the southeast and southwest. They're more whimsical than functional. Also I looked up butter sculptures in Canada. I found things I honestly would've expected from America. Rural America.
Ohh I never heard of this!
So is a christmas tree made out of butter? (・д・)

I've never heard of this, but it looks pretty amusing.
I'd like to throw it in a sauce pan and watch it melt just 'cause. xD Throw a witch hat over the tree top (probably made of a broad-leaved herb, like bay leaf) and pretend it's the Wicked Witch of the West from The Wizard of Oz..."I'm melting! Meeeelting!! Ohhh, what a world!!!"
