Do you ever get a song stuck in your head?
If you do, do you usually know where the song came from (why it's there)?
Is it something you've recently heard or listened to? Or was it background music that somehow seeped in to your brain without realizing it?
Do you mind it when a song gets stuck in your head? Or do you enjoy it? Does it matter what song or type of song gets stuck?
Do you hear more than one or two lines of the song, or is it on endless repeat?
Forums General Chit-Chat Ever get a song stuck in your head?
I currently have the "Escape/ Pina Colada" song by Rupert Holmes stuck in my head (song lyrics), and not only do I loathe the song, but it's stuck on the same three or four lines, and has been there since yesterday.
I ran across the song two or three times in the last 24 or so hours listening to different playlists, etc., and apparently because of that, it feels the need to torture me further!
It will go away eventually - probably after I listen to lots of other music. LOL!
What's your solution to something like this happening?

all the time. Just usually what I've recently heard stays in my head. Sometimes the songs mix together in a bad mashup way.
Right now it's some video game song I don't know the name of.

It can be really annoying if it's a song I don't like and it lasts for like a week.
but usually it's not that bad. just a casual loop.

Well that's something I suppose.
It always seems like it's the songs I really don't like that get stuck in my head, but even songs that I like (or don't mind) that do that get annoying after a while...
... speaking of, that stupid song is finally gone from my head!!
-tries really hard not to think about stupid song-
Although there might be the beginnings of a different song stuck in my head now -sigh-

"You've had too much of the digital love -
I get about the same 3 songs stuck in my head so naturally I listen to those three on repeat for hours at a time.

@Wildfire: my guess is all they really pay attention to is the chorus/refrain
Put ya guns awn!
@Kitalpha Hart: I guess. That's just a fraction of the song though, and it doesn't take in to account the rest of the context
