Thank you! The book says the genitive plural case is the most complex ending, so I just have to power through it and try to get it down as best I can I think
@Starlight: I find that's what I have to do sometimes too... just power through it. Sometimes it starts making some sense by the time you're done with the exercises. Then, later, you go back and it seems to make even more sense somehow...
It does seem like a popular food for today! ^_^

@Wildfire: It's the same way for me. The first time I read through a lesson I feel so lost, but it always makes a bit more sense by the time I go through each section more slowly and make Anki cards

This lesson is really ticking me off, tbh. I'm stumbling over the little things that yes, make a difference in the translation, but they aren't the supposed point of the lesson, which is to teach a verb tense...

@Wildfire: I probably need to spend more time on exercises and such too. I realized yesterday that I need to understand how verb conjugation works more. I need to be better at picking out the stems of verbs, recognizing which type of verb a verb is, and remembering the endings
