Sara was silent for a moment, looking to Kai.

".... What's wrong?" She asked after a moment or two, probably leaving the other two out as she jumped back to her natural laguage.

"What..... what happened...?" Followed a couple of seconds later. She could see it in his face. Something had happened.

Sara just climbed off of Karivyn and stood at the door that he hadn't opened fully yet.

"Let me see if I can take some of the heat out." She stated.

"I'm heat in and of itself... I should be able to help...."

Sara made her way over to Callie without a word and crawled up on the bed next to her.

".... Her fever is really high." She commented before doing what she could to remove the heat from Callie.

"What made her sick though? She... she's so cold, you wouldn't think she could GET sicl."

Sara was silent before pausing. She'd heard stories of what she could see. The slight glow on Callie skin around and under the bandages, along with what she could feel from them.

There was no way, right? Rumours were that they were dead. Or at least last she'd heard from home.

She shook her head before just drawing out the heat, causing her own face to flush pretty noticeably,as well.

"...is there anything we can do to save her...?" Sara asked kai, knowing he was the one that could understand her for the moment.

"We don't." a new voice said from the doorway.

"Sorry, the door was open still." They added as they stepped in, closing the door behind them.

"However, I do know where she can get the help that is needed. I do not have the capabilities to do myself." When they turned to look, they saw a rather curvy tall woman standing there, jaw length black hair that was clipped back and off her face on the right, and a side swept fringe the other way. She had black eyes, but that could have just been lighting, as well.

"However, those that could hope to help, are somewhere around a week out, and I fear she won't last a week waiting here."

"I am quite certain they already know of your impending arrival." She stated calmly.

"Also, hello. You can call me Lyrei." She added, figuring a name would be nice.

"I know Kai, and the unconscious one is Callie, but ... might I have your names as well?" She asked, her voice polite.

"Ah, and I have already arranged for travel. Kind of."

"I already knew who you were, Kai." Lyrei commented before shrugging lightly.

"And yes. I have. A means of travel, however, it will require Karivyn's help." She added, looking to the centaur.

"Kai mentioned that he would be travelling with a centaur, so I took it upon myself to arrange for a cart of sorts." She told him honestly.

"... assuming you are all right being the one pulling it. I apologise for being presumptuous."

Lyrei just laughed lightly.

"Don't worry about it. I'm a medic, of course I know to take care." She commented.

"I am also reasonably certain it will be large enough for the entire collection. The only snag that you all might have, is that it would be best if I went with. I ... doubt you all can keep what I have done, active." She said, not saying anything in specific about what she'd done. Sara, meanwhile, looked to Callie's shoulder though.

Lyrei nodded.

"Good to hear." She said.

"Well, I assume you lot would like to get a move on quickly." She then said.

"Allow me to get changed into something more fitting for travel, and make sure that everything regarding Callie is good for the moment, and we can head out." She paused a moment, thinking.

"Should take naught but five minutes." With that, she left the room, heading back to where she'd been staying. After she was gone, Sara looked to Kai as he was the only one - aside from Lyrei - that could properly understand her.

"I trust her." Was all she said, knowing that some confirmation would likely be good.

"She's one of us."

Sara didn't say anything before motioning to Callie's shoulder.

"The runes on her skin." She commented.

"They're rare. Most don't even know how to use them properly." She added.
