"Oh hell no." Ash replied.

"That's pretty much the one we make SURE we always have." he said.

"And chocolate milk. We always need to have some for Lindsay." he then added.

"It's the perfect recovery drink, AND it tastes great." Lindsay shrugged. "But yeah, mango juice is something we always have." he confirmed with a light chuckle.

"Where should Lunet go to be served?" he then asked.

"Oh, the den works." Ash responded.

Lindsay followed slowly, and watched as Kitt led Lunet to the couch, pushed her up onto it, and then laid down at her feet.

"...wow." he mumbled.

"Kitt's never been THIS amicable or helpful to guests before. Not even kids." he commented.

"Guess Lunet's really something." he said to Rowena.

"Casey'd be proud." he then chuckled.

"So, was it a nightmare to work on her hair?" Ash asked Rowena from where he was, laughing a little.

"Good to hear!" Ash said.

He then made his way towards Lunet with a tray in his hands, and a reusable drink bottle in his pocket. He set the tray down on her lap, and handed her the bottle.

"The mango juice." he said to her.

"The poppers are to your left, the spinach puffs to your right." he continued.

"Try 'em both, eat what you can." he went on.

"Afterwards, dessert!"

Ash just groaned.

"Kiiiiiitt." he said to the feline. "NOT for you. Keep your nose out of Lunet's food and you get a red-boned marlin as a reward." he told her further.

He then cleared his throat a little.

"She shouldn't. Now." he told her.

"And please. Don't feel like you need to call me 'Mr. Fyrane' stuff." he then said.

"Name's Ash. You can just call me that if you want to." he assured her.

Ash then smirked, as Leo returned from where he'd been, some books in his hands.

"Thanks for letting me borrow these." he said to Lindsay.

"No problem." Lindsay responded.

"So, Lunet, how's-" Leo then started to ask, before he saw her, and almost froze.

"...woah." he mumbled.

"Rowena, you are a legit miracle worker." he told the woman.

"It's VERY good." Leo replied.

"And I hope to make it so that you'll be able to see it, yourself." he declared.

"Eh?" Ash muttered.

"Wait." Lindsay said. "You wanted to borrow my books on optic biology because...?" he started to ask, but Leo interjected.

"Yes." he responded.

"I'm going to talk to Rene soon, and see if something can't be worked out." he told them. "And no, not new eyes. Lenses that might be able to harness her mana to give her sight." he quickly clarified.

"Hopefully I'll be able to integrate bluetooth technology into it, so her eyewear won't be... like, screwed into her skull." Leo responded with a small laugh.

"But I think I'll be able to meld technology with her optic nerves." he told them.

"It'd be optimal if I could wirelessly have the connection. Like, having contact pads behind her ears or whatever. There would be wires in her skull, yeah, but maybe make the connection between her head and the technology not be a physical one. But I'll need to see what's possible, doable, and then push PAST those barriers!" he then declared.

"...sorry, got excited." he apologised sheepishly.

"Means you're most likely to succeed in it, then!" Ash responded with a laugh.

"..." Leo was silent, before laughing a little.

"Yeah..." he said. "Don't need to do THAT again..." he admitted, as Ash approached Lunet.

"How are they?" he asked.

"The puffs all right? And are the poppers too spicy?" he asked further.

"And are you ready for dessert?" he then inquired with a smirk.

"No cakes, eh?" Ash asked.

"Well, then cheesecake is outta the question." he then said. "That stuff be dense as hell." he chuckled.

"My brownies are kinda dense, but good." he went on.

"Isn't there some trifle left in the fridge from yesterday?" Lindsay asked.

"Oooh! The trifle!" Ash exclaimed.

"Have you ever had trifle?" he asked Lunet.

Lunet couldn't see it.

But everyone else could.

Ash had a look frozen in his eyes of pure shock and horror. One that seemed to say 'oh, you poor sweet deprived child'. He stood there in silence for about 5 seconds, before shaking his head lightly.

"Right." he said.

"I know EXACTLY what dessert you're trying." he told her.

"You will see the absolute WONDERS of cheesecake!" he declared, turning and marching back into the kitchen, as Lindsay had a laugh about that.

"Never had cheesecake, huh?" he asked Lunet. "Trust me, it's a LOT better than it sounds." he assured her.
