Forums Voltra Discussion Losing Volts for Editing Posts?

Donator — she/her Posted 3 years ago ( 2021/06/29 16:07:22 )

I was today year's old when I found out you could lose Volts from editing posts.

I noticed it when I edited a post, and then edited it again on purpose to test it out. I lost 2 Volts lol.

Although I've been here for a few months now, I'm still fairly new to everything on this site. That's actually an interesting feature, tbh.

Have you noticed this before, or know of any other subtle quirks of Voltra?

Low, keep your head, keep your head low...
.......................................Oh, you gotta keep your head low...

I had no idea that was a thing.

Edit: But does it work in reverse?

Edit #2: No it does not work in reverse.

...If you wanna keep your head

      Whoa whoa, what? That's rude.
God, now I'm wondering how much money I've lost by editing my posts all over the place...
I don't wanna PAY to edit my posts. Wtf.

A loss of volts will occur if you remove x amount of characters putting you less than the original amount or 50 characters depending on the posts length. This is because all posts have a cap of 50 volts ( 1 character = 1 volt) and its one safety net we have in place to avoid spam and intentional misuse of the volt granting system.

You are not being charged to edit a post.
