But the freaking Xmas stuff is already out in stores. This is getting ridiculous; I hate being sick of "the holidays" before they even have a chance to begin.

But what can we do? Write a letter to our senator? :'^P pls send help. I'm becoming a Grinch. I just want to enjoy my fall and Halloween season... and save Xmas for winter where it belongs!

@Vii: It's been getting cooler here, which I'm glad for since I get very excited for fall lol. I remember one Halloween it was still 90 degrees out while I was hanging my decorations though and it was.. weird and terrible. :^( I'm glad we never moved anywhere warmer.

@Delightfully: it's true... I wish there were more Halloween songs, though. Hard to find a playlist that isn't populated with just horror movie soundtracks and pop songs that metaphorically reference something vaguely spooky.

However its insane how early they start selling xmas decorations! I know many ppl joke about it but oof lol

i love all the pretty christmas decorations so i'm super happy to see them all~

HOWEVER i really wish people here did halloween more because spooks are cool
granted i like the spooks all year round so it makes no difference to me

what sucks is that my brothers work has no halloween deco at all this year for some reason?? they have christmas deco but not halloween, weird

This early Christmas stuff is why for a few years a while back I didn't even care to celebrate it at all, I was totally sick of the holiday in general. It's so dumb. I love Christmas just fine but it needs to stay in its lane, you know?

I know its really annoying to most people to see holidays popping up so early
and that they take up 4-5 months rather than like a week or whatever. Makes them less special.

But I..

with how life is so stressful many times... I actually have been finding comfort by the early holiday commercialism this and last year.
The smiling pumpkins in august and the derpy santas in september here

It really is way too early for the Christmas things to be out. Wait until November at least, not September!
I started seeing the Xmas stuff on the first of this month as well. -sad sigh- Just stop, companies, just stop.

As for a Halloween playlist that was mentioned...this is my Main Halloween playlist on Spotify. I am always looking for some great suggestions to add to it as well!

well, it's october now and apparently christmas is in full swing. I swear I saw one of my neighbors with a little christmas tree on their porch. I'm gonna keep telling myself they just happened to have conical bushes and are one of those people who puts lights in their bushes year round... but I think I'd have remembered if there had been lights on that thing before october.
