The work hours aren't working out with his classes. He's in a master's program, and his education comes first.
Aaaaahhhh... that makes sense, and yeah, I don't blame him - I'd be focused on finishing that educational program over a part time job too! :3
Yep. Which is why we hired two new people, knowing we're about to lose one of us. So just gotta train them up, and hopefully get my Sundays back.
I hope the new folks work out well and you can reclaim your Sundays soon! :3
What else is going on for you today?

I'm hoping that some friends are willing to watch a movie with me through Discord screen share. When I get home anyway.
Once Bitten, which is a movie with a much younger Jim Carry. Basic plot is a vampire lady trying to turn Jim Carry. Or When Good Ghouls Go Bad which has Christopher Lloyd in it, and is about a cursed town after a bullying incident went very very wrong.
@Another Movie Addict: Yeah, I've seen Once Bitten - I forgot that Jim Carey was in it though. I haven't seen the other film. I know you've seen them both, but have your friends?
Nope, they have not. When I ask them to watch movies with me, I try to pick stuff that they haven't seen before. I like introducing them to different kinds of films.
Of course. Those are the most fun to watch.
LOL... because they are usually pretty bad! XD
Oh, how times have changed since then!

See newer movies are purposely trying to be 'so bad it's good' and that just makes them unbearable. I like 80's/90's so bad they're good, because generally there's true heart in the making of them. Like people were trying to make a good movie, and just didn't.
So I make my friends watch those with me, and introduce them to movies that are truly entertaining.
Yeah... I get that from your perspective they'd be entertaining... and when they first came out, they were entertaining... and some of them definitely held up better than others over the years. From my perspective though, they tend to be throwbacks to my younger days and tend to be "old and boring and immature"... or something. I"m not sure I'm describing it well...
It depends on the movie. Some of them aren't that great, though still better than something like Thankskilling.
I haven't seen Thankskilling, but I was never much a fan of the horror genre... except for things like the Evil Dead for some reason.
