While I was in the back doing stocking paperwork few days ago, a woman threw a rage fit up front and threatened to eat my coworkers. Like she was just angry and saying things without thinking. The lady was upset that we didn't have an in store washing station for pets. She brought her dog down to our store assuming that all pet supply stores have a washing station. This happened Tuesday and my coworkers are just now telling me about it.

(˵◕ ᴥ ◕˵)ノ Hello there
Im sorry but that sounds so funny, i do imagine in teh moment it wouldv been terrifying tho
。.:☆*:・ヽ(˵◕ ᴥ ◕˵)
I'm here to let you know that I am exactly the kind of person who would threaten to eat someone, BUT I would not threaten to eat some poor retail worker just because I made a mistake. .
@Vampiretaco: sounds like a karen to me
@Trixie Kay:
I do work in customer service. Over the years I've seen quite a few of those. Along with weirdos.
Probably the weirdest was this woman who admitted to taking Fish mox instead of going to the doctor for her chronic UTI. Now we don't sell fish mox.

That's crazy! I worked for walmart for 8 years, I all about crazy customers.
@Vampiretaco: what is fishmox and uti?
@Trixie Kay:
Fish Mox is antibiotics for fish. It's not meant for human consumption for many reasons.
It's not monitored by the FDA, it's not the correct dosage for humans, and there are other chemicals and additives that are in fish medicine that humans shouldn't consume.
UTI stands for urinary tract infection.

@Vampiretaco: oh i see omg thats so sad though. Probably she couldnt afford the antibiotics for human. From the things i heard from us
You could say she was hangry :)
Yikes. Just ... yikes.
But yeah a little funny in retrospect, as well. Of all things to threaten!
Also, since when do pet stores have public dog wash stations? What?
@Trixie Kay:
Amoxicillin out of pocket costs from $5 to $12. While Fish Mox is $20 when we stocked it. She just didn't want to go to the doctor. She even admitted that herself.
@CooperationIsKey:
Petco has self-service pet washing stations all around here. So do a lot of other large chain pet stores. But the place I work isn't a chain store.

@Vampiretaco: Huh, today I learned! o3o I can't recall ever seeing those but I probably just wasn't looking for them. :)
And geez, self-doctoring with a more-expensive FISH MEDICINE, yikes.
@CooperationIsKey:
You won't see them because they're inside the same area as the actual groomers. You can see the actual groomers working on the dogs through windows. The self-service stations are usually tucked in a corner or away from the windows.
