Ava and Nate have been in wolf forum for little over 2 months and they needed to get out of there and soon. The shelter was fine and everything but they needed to shift back into there human forum before it's to late to do so.. Ava looked over at her twin with a sad look "It's going to be okay Nate we'll get out of here soon."Ava mind-linked him.Nate looked up and nodded his head but didn't say anything back to her.
A young lady came into the pet shelter, looking around nervously. It was her birthday and she was going to get herself a dog as a birthday gift. She decided the shelter was the perfect place to get one from. The only problem was she didn't really know where to start. Afte a worker noticed her come in, they walked with her through the shelter. After picking up an adorable little kitten she couldn't leave behind, the worker took her to where the dogs were kept, as she still wanted to adopt one. As they walked down the isle of cages, Becca wondered if she would find a dog who was good with cats there.
The twins sat up when they hear people were coming down the hall. "Nate maybe someone will take us home"Ava said in mind-link. Nate looked at her with a wolf grin and waged his tail. "Yes maybe" he said back and he moved to sit by her.
As they walked by more cages, Becca saw the two in one together,"What can you tell me about them?" She asked the worker. The worker smiled,"We know they are bonded. A brother and a sister. We know they are good with cats, especially kittens." Becca smiled and knelt before them,"You two wanna come with me and my fluffy little Gambit here?" She asked them, holding the sleeping fluffy grey and white kitten in her arms.
Nate and Ava look at each other with wolfy grins and leaned into the female and each of the kinda nodded their heads to let her know that they wanted to go with her. "We can shift until she is use to us!" Nate said "Yes I know, can't wait." Ava said back with a giggle.
Becca smiled and told the worker she would take them too. Not long after, Becca had a backpack full of pet supplies. a small carrier for her kitten, and two leashes for her dogs. She smiled,"Let's get home guys." She said, walking the dogs while carring her kitten carrier,"You'll like it. I have a big fenced in yard you can play in all you want."
Nate and Ava followed her walking nicely with big wolf grins on there faces. "Did you hear big fenced in yard?" Nate said he loved running in his wolf and human forums. "Yes I did"Ava said with a no really voice. They continued walking with the human until they got to her car, Ava starting thinking about finally being free of that shelter well old memory came back from her childhood and pack life. Nate could feel what she was feeling and leaned into her and licked her nose.
Becca helped them in, placed her backpack into the trunk, and put the cat carrie in the passenger seat next to her. She started to drive, having the windows down a bit so the dogs could stick their heads out like she knew dogs liked to do.
Nate and Ava jumped up into the car and laid down with wolfs smiles on their face and waiting to see their new home.

After a short drive, Becca smiled,"Welcome home, everyone." She smiled. She lived in a cute mansion styled house with a large back yard and pool. It was fenced in beautifully and with lots of room for two dogs.
Sitting up the twins waited for her to let them out of the back, they couldn't believe their eye's at where they were going to live it was really beautiful. They both whimpering with excitement.
Becca let them out and opened the gate into the backyard so they could run,"Run all you want you two." She smiled
They both took off Barking and rolling around while playing with one another. "Oh my gosh !" they both said through mind-link at the same time.
Ava stopped playing and went to find a tree to lay near.

Becca smiled and watched them before taking the kitten inside,"Scratch at the back door when you are ready to come in for dinner." She smiled, grabbing her backpack as well before taking the kitten inside.
Ava just laid there and watched her twin Nate run and around braking at nothing and everything. When she finally started to close her eye when she felt Nate come up and lay beside her. About a half hour later Nate pawed at Ava to get her up. "Wake up lets go and eat !" Nate yelled through mind-link.
Jumping up Ava growled at him and headed for the door when she was about almost there and she looked back at Nate still standing where she was laying. Ava gave him an are you coming or what look once she seen that he was walking to her , she went for the back door.

Becca had gotten Gambit all settled in and then set to work getting the dogs' food bowls set up. She knew she couldn't get the best dog food, but she hoped they would like it enough for right now. She set the bowls on the floor with water and then went to the back door to let them in,"Come in you two. Dinnertime." She smiled.
Ava and Nate walked into the house and went to find the kitchen for their dinner. They both knew later they would also go on a little hunt to find some rabbit or something.

Becca smiled and patted each on the head gently,"Hey you two." She said, putting some chicken in their bowls as well. She didn't think it would hurt to spoil them a bit.
