And I'm Pretty sure some of them would let you take a towel in. But being naked at hotspring in japan is a normal thing so nobody would be feeling weird about your nakedness other than yourself. So don't let that stop you, if you're worried about that.
You could go for the food too. They serve these amazing gourmet meals if you go to a touristy one. ~.~ (I know this from other people travelling. xD)
I love japanese food, that's basically all I care about. lmao. There's not just sushi. The Nabe pots are really good too. I just really need to go one of these days. lmao
