So it was a you 2009 thing?

I did it in 2006 ish cause I was taking French xD because franglais is so much easier than actually remembering french words. Just out Les le la l' on everything. Voila. French!

I don't speak Spanish or French. Or not a lot at least. I took German in school.

They didn't offer anything but French and Spanish at my school. I wanted something Asian.

Noice! I took Spanish (because it was mandatory) and then Mandarin (to fulfill my required foreign language electives).

Cool! I took like a tiny bit of Spanish in 8th grade. I don't remember much past "Hola"

Oh and English since you know.. that's a requirement and only requirement. I know bits and pieces I've picked up from languages I've heard.

"pomme de terre" is the most memorable thing from my French class. Apple of the earth. Aka potato. Man I love French xD

Lol! That's great! I love the translations of German, they're so literal, it's funny.

Everyone got to take cool classes and like we didn't even have academic things we didn't pay for out of pocket; Like speech and debate, chess club, art club, etc etc. We had spanish or french because it's mandatory. We couldn't take any other languages.
