Luke shrieked when he heard that.
"NO!" he exclaimed.
"Please! No!" he said, racing towards her and throwing himself at her feet.
"I'm sorry, Mom! I didn't mean to do bad things!" he blubbered.

Anna just shrugged.
"I know." She told him.
"I know you didn't. I know this wasn't intentional. But you still could have avoided it, which is why you're on cleaning duty for awhile." She then told him.
"So come on. Let's get upstairs and outta here. You look like you haven't eaten for a bit."
Luke sniffled again, and nodded.
"O-Okay..." he said.
"And... and I've been eating..." he told her.
"Lily brings me snacks sometimes." he said further.
His stomach then promptly growled. Loudly.

"Snacks. Right." Anna said before sighing.
"If you don't want to eat, I won't force it." She then said before turning to head upstairs again.
"Whenever you decide ytou want to surface, feel free." Was the last thing she said, which was her way of saying that he wasn't required to stay down there and could do what he wanted to.
Luke just babbled some incoherent blubbering nonsense, and scrambled to follow his mother.
Though she DID make out words like 'no' and 'hungry' and 'sorry' and other such things.
Meanwhile, Lily had made her way to her father, and he had given her a hug when she showed up.
"So the place should be done tomorrow?" Andrew asked Ash.
"Yep." Ash replied.
"I paid for expedited service and such. The best contractors money can buy." he said.

"Good to know." Lily said with a chuckle.
"Because my room was completely trashed." She added with a light sigh, and a shake of her head.
"I've been sleeping on what remains of the couch." She then said, so that Andrew knew what her situation was, at the moment.
Andrew just sighed.
"And Luke?" he asked.
"He's insisted he sleep on the floor in the basement." Ash replied.
"Lily and I tried to get him to sleep on some cushions up here, but he insisted that he needed to punish himself so that you two wouldn't do anything really REALLY bad to him." he said.
"Well... we ARE strict disciplinarians..." Andrew admitted. "But do we take it too far...?" he wondered aloud.
"Nah." Ash responded. "Just a kid's imagination running wild." he said.
"And don't worry, Lily. You'll have your exact bed back by tomorrow." he then told Lily.
"And if you guys like, I can set you up in a hotel for the night." he offered.
"...Anna certainly WOULD like that, given that conference was tedious and patience-trying..." Andrew admitted, scratching his chin.
"And Luke?" he asked.

"Yeah, that'd be fantastic." Anna said as she made her way to where the others were.
"And I almost don't care where, either." She added before sighing.
"I think Luke would appreciate it too... if on ly just because of the fact that he's very obviously beating himself up."
"You've raised a good boy." Ash told her.
"He just needs to learn it's okay to make mistakes." he said.
"To be fair, this was a pretty quality mistake..." Andrew commented, as Luke peered out from around the corner at the group.
"True." Ash agreed.
"But nobody got really hurt, and the damage is being repaired." he said.
"Regardless, not my place to step in on family affairs." he went on.
"I'll set you up at the Heaven's Meadows Hotel. I can call in a favour there with the owner." he told them.
"...well. I'm not going to complain if you're going to set us up with THAT level of style." Andrew chuckled.

"Nor will I." Anna said.
"If you can do it until Monday, that'd be brilliant." She added.
"Even though I realize that it might be a biit longer than could possibly be doable. I dunno how large of a favour you can call in."
"A pretty big one." Ash replied.
"Monday shouldn't be too much of an issue." he told her.
"You guys go and pack." he said.
"I'll phone it in." he continued.
"By the time you're done and back out here, I'll have made the reservations." he assured them with a smile.
"Awesome." Andrew replied.
"Let's go pack our things for a mini-vacation, then." he said.

Anna nodded.
"Sounds good." She said with a light laugh before heading inside to do just that.
About twenty minutes later, the four of them had everything they would need for a few nights stay away from home and were already outside, ready to go.
"Well, Luke, your destruction of the house proved to be a good thing." Lily said with a laugh.
Luke was silent as he heard that, but smiled a little.
"Heh..." he laughed quietly.
"Maybe." he said.
"It's still bad what I did." he added, as they heard Ash on the phone.
"Right. So we're good. The Cole family, reservation for 4, Gaia suite, until Monday, all-inclusive, and any expenses are billed to me." he said.
"Excellent. I knew I could count on you." he went on, before noticing the draydins.
"We'll be there shortly. See you in a bit." he finished, before hanging up and making his way back to them."[/b]

"Luke, consider this the silver lining. That and no one got hurt." Anna stated before looking to Lily.
"And why are you so damned bruised?" She asked her daughter. Lily shrugged.
"Luke startled me and I fell off the roof." Was Lily's answer, which net silence from Anna
"....I assume there's more to that story." Andrew commented.
"A lot more." Luke said.
"More bad things because of me." he said further.
Andrew just sighed deeply.
"Lily, we'll tend to those bruises when we get to the hotel." he told her.
"And you'll both tell us what happened."
"A lot more." Luke said.

"Sure thing." She said.
"Now, Ash, are we good to go?" Anna then asked after a couple seconds.
Ash nodded.
"Yep." he replied.
"Oh, and I called you guys a-" he went on, as a taxi drove up to him.
"....cab." he finished.
"You guys get in." he told them, paying the driver in advance.
"I'll see you guys at the hotel to make sure the check-in's smooth."
"Yep." he replied.

"Sounds good." She said.
"See you there." was the last thing she said before they all climbed into the vehicle. Ash made sure that they knew where they were4 going, and they were off.
Ash watched the cab drive off, before walking behind the house. Once there, he disappeared in a burst of black flames, and appeared in an alley close to the hotel. He then walked out of it, and made his way to the front of the hotel to wait for Anna and co.
Once they arrived a few minutes later, he greeted them and they all went inside, where it looked to be a secluded paradise of nature, true to its name.
"You can really feel the nature here." Andrew commented.
"It's what they pride themselves on." Ash responded.
It was at that point, a dryad disguised as a human showed up.
"Ah, you must be the Cole family." he greeted Anna and her family.

Lily paused a moment before looking the person up and down.
"That... I admit, you're a surprise." She stated bluintly.
"Didn't think I'd ever see a Dryad lookin' human." She then added with a shrug, which net a sigh from Anna.
". . . Lily...." She started, her voice warning. One thing Lily had to learn, still, was when to open her trap, and when not to.
