@Monorea: I did take some driving lessons but I was pretty bad at it. I also don't like driving.
@Monorea: I did take some driving lessons but I was pretty bad at it. I also don't like driving.
@vengeance: That's understandable, for my it is simply too much impressions/information. I get overloaded and too tired so it is impossible for me to be able to drive. xP
@Monorea: I also cannot do two things at once in a car. So I would always have to drive an automatic. Those things aren't cheap.
And sorry to hear about that.
@vengeance: Is the difference that big nowadays? I mean the price in construction shouldn't be that different.
Well i do get access to special transport so it isn't that bad, it doesn't go outside this state tho so in that case i have to take the train and trains are so full of people and impressions that it both gets me tired and triggers my people phobia.
@Monorea: In my country it is. A second hand automatic is often already a 1000 euro's more expensive.
I use public transport a lot. It's just when I am looking for a job I can only look in the bigger places. Otherwise it is near impossible to get there.
@vengeance: 90% of jobs nowadays want you to have a drivers license, that is the only reason i am sad i can't get one.
1000 euro for a function like that isn't too bad, i feel it should be half of that tho.
@Monorea: Hmm here in my country you don't need a drivers license for a lot of jobs. Only for jobs where you would need to do something with a car of course.
@vengeance: I wish it was that way over here too. They are fairly annoying with what they want from jobseekers nowadays.
@Monorea: Most companies however are like you need to live within 25km of the job. Here jobs need to pay you for getting to your job.
@vengeance: That would be nice, i know several people that don't work fulltime due to health issues and the car fuel takes most of their pay.
Well that distance isn't far so maybe it isn't a help.
@Monorea: Yeh so here companies need to pay for your fuel. That's why they don't want you to live to far away. It will cost them to much money. I remember at a job interview I had the company rented a bike so if an employee came by train they could take the bike to work.
@vengeance: I don't think that law is helpful then since it limits the places you can get work to near where you live. Do people like that law or what do they think about it?
@Monorea: Most people are happy about it because they will take on a job then outside of their own city.
@vengeance: So not all companies only accepts you if you live near enough then?
Laws are wierd, sometimes i wish it was easier to abolish or change some of them and sometimes i am scared that some laws go trough too easily even when a large percantage of the population doesn't want it to.
@Monorea: More like if people don't get paid to travel they won't take a job outside of their city since it will cost them to much money. Companies would even have an harder time finding people then.
@vengeance: I mean just give people enough money to afford it as part of their salary to begin with. That law might be good in a way that it gets people out but it is probably bad in terms of base salary.
