@Kozi: Actually my parents suddenly have stuff planned almost each day >.> Like a family member is coming over tomorrow. Monday we will do big groceries in germany. Thuesday they might want to go to a summer fair. On wednesday I go on a shopping trip with my mom. And on thursday they might want to go to a summer fair as well.
@vengeance: I’m sure you’re old enough where they can respect you if you say you’d rather not go to something.

@Kozi: Unfortunaly not with my parents. They will accuse me of finding my computer more important. Sometimes I can say no but 95% of the time I have to say yes.
@vengeance: Ugh, i know that feeling well. Growing up, I got accused of that a lot.
Unfortunately, they weren't wrong a lot of the time, but good luck saying that.

@Kozi: I have no problems going to a summer market. Just not next week with the event and all. But my parents won't care tho.
That, unfortunately, might be generational.
As time goes on, I notice more people realize the importance of friendships, both online and off.
Since they themselves likely had them.
The older folks simply didn't have that, and may not always understand it.

Maybe it's better to have very few really close friends than a bunch of superficial ones.
They stopped having contact with some other friends they had. One stopped by a couple years back. And after some talking they said they would love it if we stopped by sometime later. Never happened. When I asked them about it they got angry and told me it's none of my business.
