Update: 7/29/18
Been a long 3 months since I've updated this thread or posted last.
So here is the latest.

I finally got a tablet. I bought myself a Huion Giano.
And here are latest of my works. Tablet and Mouse work.

[x]
Aries; part of my Horoscope series.
Needs some work though of course as some of the errors are evident, BUT i am very happy with her hair, face, and the moon and some
of the details in her corset.

[x]
Headshot of my Oc Zykahl[might change her name or the spelling not sure].
But not happy with how it came out so i will be fixing it up.

[x]
This was suppose to be for mermay but i never finished it as i wasn't sure where
i wanted to go with this piece.
and i kinda made her too depressed looking which isn't the overall vibe i wanted for her.

[x]
Currently I am revamping this piece.
I made this nearly a year ago[will be 1 year ago in october]
and the original it just...didn't turn out how i wanted.

I think that is pretty much it for updates.
I will eventually get to updating the front page.

I can't wait to see more of your art. I checked out a few of your pieces posted on the front page. The line work for the Aries piece is beautiful.

@Selikait: Thank you. She is my favorite piece I've done so far.
Sorry this gallery is quite blank.
I'm working on a lot of studies to help me grow better. :vanora_sweat:

@MoodyBats: No worries. Your gallery is fuller than mine. I fell away from drawing for too long, so I need to start practicing again. What are you studying?

@Selikait: Aww thanks.
Yeah filling up and drawing in general is hard.

My current studies are of the fundamentals.
Right now I am learning shapes and forms to draw the body so I won't need to draw anatomy line-for-line.
So it consists of 3D shapes such as Rectangular prism, Cylinder, Sphere, and the cube.

@MoodyBats: That's fascinating. Is this for digital or traditional art? I only took a few art classes in college, but we didn't get that in depth.

@Selikait: It can actually work for both.
I'm stronger in digital art but i am doing it traditionally.

Ah. There are tons of youtubers on youtube you can learn from.
I watch video lessons from the channel Swatches and Ahmed Aldoori.
Both youtubers are super informative on art.

@MoodyBats: Thank you, I will have to look into those Youtubers. I also have to give myself time to draw as well.

What's your favorite thing to draw?

@Selikait: Yeah. setting schedules is really helpful.
I do not set schedules cause im super bad at it.
but i bought a planner so maybe it'll help.

Also Jelarts is super nice and good. she isn't a professional and her art style is slightly anime/cartoony
but she has many great tips for beginner artists, even if your not beginner.
and good for motivation stuff too.

Right now I don't have anything because i'm still learning. :vanora_sweat:

@MoodyBats: Jelarts sounds right up my alley. I definitely need the motivation. I have trouble thinking of what to draw. I like to draw avatars since they're so varied, but provide a reference at the same time. I can't wait to see more of your work. Whatever you decide to draw.

@Selikait: She is super wonderful and she draws the CUTEST stuff.
the other day she drew a cat island and ah mah gosh! it was so cute.

Oh yeah that is true. i struggle with avatars and making them my own style.
poses always have me stumped and that is why i am drawing shapes to get better
at breaking down the body

@MoodyBats: I've always secretly wanted one of those poseable wooden models for figure drawing, but I haven't felt justified in spending the money on it. I did find an app once (can't remember the name) that you can choose models and move their limbs and everything every which way so you could use it as a drawing reference.

@Selikait: Well, the wooden ones aren't actually poseable so they aren't actually worth the money
you pay for them.
it's honestly better i you buy the Body-chan or Body-kun because you can move those.
Wooden ones are more so for you to simplify bodies into shapes like cylinders, spheres and rectangular prisms.
The body Kun/Chan are a bit more but those ones are worth it.

Yeah they're tons of apps for moveable mannequins.
a new one is coming out even that i am looking out for called Manikin.
I use to use one called design doll but for some reason the program never pops up when i click it.
so i uninstalled it. Was pretty useless to me since the program never came up.

@MoodyBats: That stinks about the app not working. I hope the new one you're looking for actually works. And thank you for the advice on the posing figurine. I'll look into those.

@Selikait: No problem, glad I could help and it's okay.
It says the new app will be available through play store and on windows
which makes me happy.
it will also be available in itunes but i don't have any apple products.

cause a lot of apps i find are through itunes are way cute. :vanora_stunned:
