@Tuijp: ah yeah tell me about it haha, especially the dialects :')
Never went to pinkpop, I've been to bospop though that was neat!

@Siron: check the fb page of bnnvara and the video they posted of Jochem Meyer about 9 hours ago about dialects.
Pinkpop is too expensive now.

@Tuijp: lmao good find, that cracked me up :')
Ah, lots of things are these days tbh
I mean if you're into that kinda thing and have the time you could always volunteer, usually that gets you the tickets for free. (:

@Siron: I just saw it so I had to share.
There aren't too many festivals around here.

@Tuijp: Perfect timing then!
Hmm, well i think they let volunteers camp for free?
So if driving back and forth isn't an option there's still that ;v;

@Siron: not all festivals do that. Some only give you a free lunch.
Bringing this over from the other thread:
A lot of people think he bites, until I explain to them about the dog's bad eyes and desire to get food. My landlord is 85+ and he loves it. He can also walk around freely in the neighbourhood, while other dogs can't.

@Tuijp: Ah that's a shame, really.
Also kinda weird cause I'm pretty sure that, without the volunteers, they wouldn't get far?
Well, I hope you'll get your opportunity some other day then ;v;
That's adorable! Glad your landlord likes dogs, spares you a whole lot trouble ;o;

He sounds like a smart dog tbh.
We used to have one and he kinda, uh, went on an adventure because someone didn't close the gate correctly. :vanora_unamused:
Had to pick him up at the police station ._.
He also couldn't walk stairs but at the station he suddenly could lol. He got real lucky though, man we searched whole neighborhoods for him.
Back then the police told my mother that she should've taught him one thing though, which of course made her nervous until the answer ''The traffic rules'' came out of his mouth, lmao.
That one was one hell of a day, I tell you :')

@Siron: I already helped with Bevrijdingspop Haarlem a bunch of times. I could stay over at a friend's house and work until the end (after cleaning up and a small barbecue).

My landlord used to have a dog but doesn't want to get another because he's too old for it. He still likes dogs, especially when they are calm and don't just jump up at you.
When I have my brother's dog, like now, she doesn't have a say in anything and walks around with me calmly. She is a lot wilder when she walks with my brother.
My smallest dog is an escape artist. She usually goes to the end of the neighbourhood, to my brother, a neighbour with a dog or an old lady who lives at the end, just to say hey and play a bit (or cuddle with the old lady). One time, she went the other way, to a busy road. A neighbour and me chased her, but she is so fast. A local cop tried to help, what made her run faster. When we got her, he asked if they could borrow her from time to time to practice running and chasing on her.

@Tuijp: Ah that's one way to go about it as well!

Ah that story reminds me of this elderly lady that walked into the store looking for a plush that resembled a dog cause she couldn't walk the way she once could anymore and she felt lonely. It was kinda sad in a way, but she found one she liked, luckily.

And it's probably a difference in energy as well, dogs tend to be very sensitive to that.
Or maybe he's not as strict haha, can be hard to be stern with them when they put on their puppy faces. :')

Lmao that's hilarious!
Can only imagine what that must've looked like, like one of those classic chase scenes.
Glad you guys caught her in time though!

@Siron: Bevrijdingspop is also always fun!

Jorus, the oldest dog, doesn't really put on a puppy face. He likes you or not and threats you as such. The smallest dog, she does put on a puppy face and not a lot of people can resist that.

People in the neighbourhood know her and don't even chase her anymore. They usually sit down on their knees, talk to her, hoping she comes over.

@Tuijp Honestly, I'm not familiar with a lot of festivals, i know several by name and know other's stories but the only firsthand experience was with bospop, stayed there the whole week in a tent, or well I actually slept outside of it cause the weather was nice and i liked looking at the stars
what do you mean, cheesy? lol
My time there was great; good atmosphere and people (:

Sounds like a dog with a strong character haha, they're smart though, they probably have a reason for why they do/or don't like you.
Yeah not many people are immune to the puppy face. :')
What's the younger one called?

But in my experience, trying to chase a dog is more often than not a lost cause haha.
especially when they're young ;-;

@Siron: I've been to several festivals and did a whole bunch of all nighters thanks to them. Been at Pinkpop 5 times and never slept a minute in the last night.

Kelpies are made to be smart, since they are working dogs.
The small one is named Woezel, since she looks like the blond one of Woezel en Pip.

Depends on the dog really. I had to chase one of my neighbours before and he would stop and stare at you, wondering why you were chasing him.

@Tuijp: Now I'm instantly reminded of this drunk/high dude that passed out on this airbed outside of his tent and someone of the crew (sleeping dude was part of it as well) jumped on it and he didn't even wake up lmao.

Love the name! Just how little is she though?
Cause I've only seen big labradoodles over here (at least i remember you mentioning her she was little? Excuse me if my brain just bailed on me :') )

Bless that dog, mine is is more like '' no you will not stop me from stuffing my mouth with mud''

@Siron: sounds like my brother. It takes a lot to wake him up.

She is the same size as my cat xD

My other dog escaped once. We went through the complete neighbourhood, just to find him in front of feont door (he escaped out the back)
@Artemis: because I'm mean?
