@Neko: Well I'd say it was a 4 hours well spent! The colors work so well together and they are very balanced. :3
I try not and change my avi to often, but I can't help myself. When I find one I really like I'll keep it for a few days. (Like my current neon raver theme I got going lol)
My first step if figuring out the color scheme and then I go from there. ^^

@Neko: I tend to work off of an item.
My previous one, for instance (in the spoiler below) took me all oftwenty minutes, and all I started with? Was the eye pose from the Bird of Prey set.
Once I had that, I just found things that looked good with it.
