@Luffer Nutter: That particular item was a lot better when its companion-art was up, but the person it was for turned out to be a real piece, so....

If you dig the founding fathers and like musicals you must find it. IT IS SO AMAZING. Literally a musical about Alexander Hamilton. With rap battles. Intelligent. Rap. Battles. By the founding fathers. Such great. Much amazing.

@glume: that is so amazing you guys will love it then! They do tours! I got to see it in Hollywood, and it's come to the LA area like 3 times now, so I am sure it will go to a major city in your state. It is so worth it!! It's really hard to get tickets here and they are crazy expensive, but there is also a lot higher demand for them here due to the large part of the population interested in theater, so maybe it will be a little cheaper by you. But when nosebleeds you gotta see it! Idk why they're haven't released a recorded version of the play or anything, but I guess that gets people to see it live. >w<
The bestie and I went to our local maryjane dispensary one night after work and they were playing the soundtrack in there, we fangirled and had a 10 minute conversation with our budtenders. I love those unexpected connection with people who at a glance you wouldn't think you shared much in common with <3
@Luffer Nutter: I was so upset when they took my favorite musical/movie to broadway and had Neil Patrick Harris as the lead and I could never see it. He did so good tooo....
@glume: which one? I am inclined to think Young Frankenstien, but didn't he do that one crazy genetic opera thing?
@Luffer Nutter: Hedwig and the angry inch. I have all those songs in my usual rotation, both movie version and as sung by him because hot damn can he sing.
@glume: I forgot about that one! I haven't seen it but I will definitely make note if it comes near me! Wicked is coming in september and I won't forgive myself if I miss it again :vanora_cry:
@Luffer Nutter: I bet that is so good live. I read most of the books but never got to see it performed.
@glume: I haven't either but I know and love the soundtrack so much and know the story and love that too <333
I love where I live too because oh the history with those sort of things. I see musicals at The Pantages in Hollywood, and it's this old theater that is just beautifiul and in the heart of hollywood, so everytime we go it's an adventure. We live here but we don't really do the touristy things that often yanno?

@Luffer Nutter: I absolutely understand. I've never been skiing :p
@Elithiya: Why thank you!
@Elithiya: Why thank you!
@glume: so I have this weird thing where skiing scares me because when I was a kid there was a couple bad skiing accidents(Sonny Bono, then one of the Kennedys) where they lost control and crashed into trees and died. So whenever I get dragged into skiing I only go on the easiest kiddie slopes XD
