Canis was actually my first guess but there are two symbols that exist as one-letter words, only one of which is in the clue word.
So now I'm guessing it's an i for dingo. Or maybe vixen, but... it's not a very helpful clue if it gives us such rare letters as v and x :P

@Siron: You can get mushrooms from any thread on site. I believe Arcade gives the least, and Events gives the most. So if you want more mushrooms... you're better off posting in the event forum. =)
To the others, honestly? imo, pick one and run with it. If it's wrong, try with the other? I dunno.
