Well technically my taco soup also had pureed carrots, yams, and white bean(i used butter bean) to add some extra veggies. So its a really super healthy low calorie meal.

They are in family with onion so some people cry when they cut them, but they do definitly not taste like onion... At least I dont think so. But reading on google psom people claim they taste like a very mild onion. I just fid it more like a mixture between kale or salad and a tiny hint of onion if eating the darker green parts of it.
I just know that they taste amazing in a potatosoup. cleanes, and cut out 2-3 leeks and put them in a pot with cut potatoes, let them boil for a good 20-25 minutes then blend it all with a hand-blender and add a bit of salt/pepper.. If you want to spice it a bit up you can also sprinkle it with garlic croutons or cooked bacon

that's why the ghost pepper sauce only went in my serving of the meal. xD i make mild foods and add spice to mine.

I kinda think of leek as a combination between onion and garlic. I have to wear my cutting glasses. (they're a pair of paintball goggles) when i'm cutting leek or onion. but its got that delicious garlic flavor to it.

635 - I LOVE all things about Halloween, including the horror and the actual meanings of it. I just tend to get nightmares if I watch horror movies, especially those based on real life.
Halloween a my favorite time of the year. That, and my birthday is exactly one week after Halloween.
