It was caused by neither the inside, nor the outside.
I think it's just a thing that happened. Windows crack over time, after all.
But I gotta call the fucking landlord tenant board tomorrow and fight this.

He's going to try and say the tape CAUSED it.
When it's been there for at least 2 weeks before the crack.
There's no way to prove that on either end, though.

@Lunakiri: There any way you can write a dispute letter? I mean, worst case scenario is he takes you to magistrate court over it which is more money than its worth for the repair.
