As for your shoes, if you can go buy a new pair, find something comfy, but simple. Don't go overly complex. If you can get away withOUT heels, DO SO. Unless you are used to heels and prefer them. (I wouldn't, but that's me. Lol)
But beyond that, I have no idea.
I'm not really the best for advice on that kinda thing. What I say is just things I've heard from others. ^ ^;;

And yea...the customers are A LOT worse than retail especially on weekends, holidays, or when a big movie comes out. D8 I used to work in the concession stands a lot and it became my department when i became supervisor. It was my worst nightmare tbh. ; o; I didn't have to be on the register like a regular employee but I still had to deal with shitty customers or...coworkers who didn't want to listen to me lol.

Also, how was your internship? I just remembered today was your first day!

One time, at the theater, an elderly woman wanted me to say a prayer with her. I don't know what prompted her to do so, and I wasn't sure why i even agreed to it. xD She did the same to one of my mangers too. xD
Oh, and another I was sweeping the floor out in the lobby. This guy was running, and when he passed me he dropped his can of beer. xD We don't allow alcoholic drinks in our theater so he had to throw it away because I saw it LOLOL
