I'm an artist too, it just works differently. My fuel is on emotions, if I don't have the right ones running then I can't do it. This is why music works for me, not really videos. It's a background of emotions and words from another that can act as a fueltank for me.

@MoodyBats: and I can't draw off an idea XD But that's okay, different fuels for art helps create different styles. I think differences like that helps make the world of art a lot more interesting~

and it would help but sometimes it's a bit too overpowering that i just...can't focus and just brood in my sadness lol.

@MoodyBats: Understandable, It can help me when feeling depressed, hurt, or otherwise upset. At the same time? I sometimes wish I could draw on just ideas, as countless ones bounce through me every second of every day. I'd be able to draw whenever I want to! But if having to choose between the two, I'll always side with emotion. It feels like it fits with the stories and poetry I make more. What I mean by that is? Sometimes I use the same emotions on both, making them like weird siblings.

Well.... I don't really know how to teach how to draw with emotion? For me it was just a natural thing, as I draw as far back as my first piece of paper.
