I'm just getting into doll customizations (mainly mini dolls) and wanted to know if there were any other customizers on here? :3
I've been working on the Monster High Minis because I have so many doubles and so many monster characters that it just seemed fitting. <3
I'll probably post one here once it's finished; still needs some work haha.

I'm not the best with drawing eyes yet so I've started by customizing blind box dolls - particularly the ones like the LOL girls or even Unicornio. If you don't have any maybe go to a thrift shop and find some cute used dolls and some acrylic paints? I've been pleasantly surprised with how many cute used dolls and paints there are. :,D

It is kinda expensive, but I've found most of my supplies from WalMart and thrift stores. I'm not thinking of doing it professionally though. :vanora_sweat:
I used to have so many dolls, I don't know what happened to them lol. I remember trying to cut their hair. And my grandma made clothing for them.

Aw, my mom and I used to make clothes for my dolls too! And I also don't know what happened to mine...I had so many barbies and they all kind of just disappeared after I turned 8. :vanora_cry:

i've customized a few monster high dolls, but haven't really finished them XDi've been scolded on using msc (mr super clear) sealant, cause i don't have a respirator.

Good idea not using MSC without a mask, I've heard stories. ;_; Gotta be safe!
@Sulley: i re-did those eyebrows so many times XDshe's spray-painted gold, but the matte of the sealant kinda gives her a bronze-ish look.
i need to spray more sealant on her body tho cause she's still pretty shiny.
i've been doing the 'spray and run away' tactic which isn't smart XD
i have a normal dust mask but that's not enough.

@Sulley: i was going for gold, but bronze is good cause it's metallic.i wanted a metal looking doll. o3o
when i get around to finishing her tho she will have a mary antoinette style wig and a fancy outfit.
normal dust masks like this:
is better than nothing i suppose, but they're not as good as something like this
a proper respirator is better i think since it blocks the fumes better from sealant.
