You can give them some milk products, but not much. F.e. Ozzy loves ice cream so he always gets a bit.

My cats are weird when it comes to people food. Some things they like the smell of but not the taste then other things they just gobble up.
Yeah, cats can eat a variety of people foods as long as you avoid the main things toxic to them. They cannot have gluten also so you have to be careful when giving them baked goods. My eldest likes cookies. (I found that out by accident when I dropped a piece of cookie on the floor once.)
