It is completely stupid they would blow something up like that out of proportion. It is completely understandable the dog looked like your dog so you go and ask if they have found it and to see it in person and then you just apologize for the misunderstanding. No need to get nasty like that girl did.
Even the owner admitted her dog looked like my dog's twin, so it was an understandable mistake.
Yesterday someone shared on facebook a post of a cat that was found. It looked like a twin of our cat.
It's just he's so unique it was hard to believe there was another corgi/husky mix that was also a tuxedo with different coloured eyes. But this dog is a girl and two years older. My Trouble is a boy.
He's been missing since January 1st. :/
He followed a girl dog home one day, and never came back. I've seen the girl dog several times since then, but not him.
