"Elsewhere." Gregory replied.
"If you wanna tell him you're going, may as well do it now." he told her.
"I'm gonna head to that pocket dimension soul signpost area." he said.
"The bar, essentially." he clarified.
"That's a good place to speak about this."

Sure enough, it didn't take her long before she approached Gregory, where he was sitting at the bar.
"Hey." She said, slidiung into the seat across from him.
"What's up?"

"Hey." Gregory replied.
"Got you that cosmopolitan drink you like." he told her, gesturing to the drink on the table.
"Anyway." he muttered.
"That Levi kid is shutting off all other voices." he told her.
"Meaning that only WE should be there when we speak with him." he went on.
"But lately... I've been feeling that that's not the case."

"Thanks." Madison commented before pausing.
"And... what?" She asked.
"What do you mean?" She4 added, seeking a bit more clarification. She wasn't sure what it was that he was getting at, exactly. She hadn't picked up on anything... but that wasn't hard to believe. She was still relatively new to the position, in the sense that she hadn't encountered as many different variations as Gregory had.

"....hm." Gregory muttered.
"How can I put this...?" he mumbled further.
"All right, let's put it this way." he said. "Picture Levi on one of those video conversation programs on a computer." he told her. "Normally, all the dead would be crowded around the computer chair, trying to speak to him." he said further.
"Now, with his 'meds', all the dead are kicked out of the room, allowing us to speak with him, and things are more clear, because we're alone in the room." he went on.
"However... I get this... odd feeling that, when we're speaking with him... there's... something... watching from over our shoulders." he told her further.
"But... I don't see or sense anyone, or anything. Not even Emelie or Liz." he continued.
"I just get this weird feeling that we're not really alone when we're speaking with him."

Madison was silent as Gregory said all he did. She wasn't entirely sure what to make of it, but didn't want to bruish it off.
He had more experience than he did. e knew more akin to what he was picking up on, and the fact that he was concerned enough to even mention it, she really doubted it was a case of him being a bit on the paranoid side.
"I..." She started before sighing.
"I have no idea what to make of that." She admitted.

Gregory just sighed.
"Neither do I." he replied.
"But it's... unnerving." he said.
"Like some unknown presence is constantly there now." he told her.
"But, for the life of me, I can't pinpoint what it is."

"Have you ever experienced something like this before with a conduit?" Madison asked after a few seconds, concern in her voice and features.
"Because... that could be a start, at least." She added after a few seconds before sighing lightly.
"I have no idea where else to start for considering waht the hell is going on. Unless you want to go to Emelie or Liz, of course."-

Gregory crossed his arms over his chest, and thought for a moment.
"Hm." he muttered.
"I'm not sure." he said.
"I'd have to think about it. Perhaps I've experienced this in the past." he said further.
"But I dunno if this is worthy of bringing to their attention yet." he went on, as he scratched at his chin, trying to recall if he'd ever seen something like this in his past.

"I have no idea, but I can keep a closer eye on him? I dunno how good I can do, I'm more in tune with the younger generation than he is." Madison commented.
"He really should move to San Diego though..." She muttered with a sigh.
"Would do him a lot of good. he'd be able to get proper learning for what he is, and how to handle it."

"Both of them should." Gregory responded.
"His friend doesn't know what she is, not fully." he said.
"So the two of them could use some proper learning and control." he went on.
"But yes, him, more necessarily." he agreed.
"Conduits are often driven to insanity and... well... suicide." he lamented.
"He seems too nice for that to be his fate."

"Do you think the one he's living with is having any effect on him, as a conduit?" Madison asked.
"Or is her variety of mage... ineffective to those around them?" She asked, her voice curious.

"Sometimes." Gregory replied.
"Usually an arcane mage affects active mana." he told her.
"Augments it when it's actively being used and such." he went on.
"That being said, there are incidents where passive mages had their natural abilities increased or fortified by the presence of an arcane mage." he then said.
"Of course... again, depends on whether or not the arcane mage is actively using their power to augment, because any passive effects would tend to be negligible, I would think." he continued, before sighing deeply.
"What I'm saying is that there's too many x-factors here for any sort of definitive or useful answer."

It was a couple of weeks later, and Ally just watched Levi from across the library. He didn't know she was there yet, but he seemed... on edge. Like really on edge, almost as if he was a crack addict or something.
"The hell...?" She wondered quietly before approaching.
"Hey, you ok?" She asked him as she sat down in the seat next to him,

"Ah!" he exclaimed lightly.
"I..." he stammered.
"I... well..." he stuttered further, before sighing.
"I don't know." he admitted.
"I keep thinking I'm hearing someone talking to me." he told her.

"Are we sure that what you got from Kiah is actually doing what it's supposed to?" She asked, her voice concerned.
"Because we were both under the impression that... well... they would silence everything,a side from those ... above..." She paused a mometn.
"Are we sure the reapers aren't just jerkin' your chain?"

"These voices are different." Levi responded.
"They don't sound like the voices I was dealing with before." he told her.
"And I've come to learn the sounds and voices of the reapers." he then went on. "These voices sound NOTHING like them. Like, at ALL." he said further.

"How long?" She then asked after a moment, not entirely sure what it was that she was to say beyond that. From what she'd learned, along with him, there was no way for him to actually BE schizophrenic now, not now that they knew that he was a conduit... but then that left a question.
