I think its better to have one high quality candy cane rather than a bunch of lower quality ones. if you very from the typical cheap ones, you have the option one hand pulled hard candy ones. Natural ingredients without preservatives taste worlds different! They are made as a hard candy, but they can also make candy canes as thick with a softer more pillowy texture. Those ones crumble when bitten and the bits melt away inside. My favorite kind is thick stick ones between the hard and soft texture, still peppermint flavored, but one side dipped in a hard cream, hard creams last longer and help balance out the strong peppermint taste~

It sounds like kiwi and hazar have not experienced all the types of candy canes XD lol I wouldn't call the soft ones orgasmic just because they are soft, bu there are many who prefer the pillowy fluffy soft texture. I prefer a texture between the two extremes.

@Kozi: Ahh XD Too bad that i don't think they make the fluffy kinds in non peppermint flavors~ if you like cotton candy, I could imagine it would taste better as the fluffier type.
