Forums General Chit-Chat had a tornado touch down
we had a tornado touch down, plus several funnel clouds spotted all around so I wasn't online. we are in the clear for now.
Oh my o-o That must have been terrifying.
@SnakeWeaver: I took my little Unicorn to the basement, and her daddy went outside to watch the rain and wind change direction.
@Raxton: we all still have a flash floods though and it is still another bad round of storms.

@Fai: it is storming off, and on. I am overly tired, I just hope that the sirens horn, don't blow again my head hurt's just a smidge.
@Fai: I think they were a bit siren happy and made the horn go off more than it needed to, because the tornado left for a different town.
@Fai: because they it was 1 tornado touch down 20 minutes away from the town I live in, it was traveling down one highway and switch to the highway that goes through the town I am in but then it went to a different town and missed us all together. but it was also because of all of the funnel clouds that were spotted there were at least 3-4 spotted two where in the town I live in, the other funnel was in a town close by and the 4 was in the town where to tornado started from. the siren horn was going off all over the place.

@Fai: we have had tornado's follow the rivers, highways, but we have a lot of hills, and the bluffs. sometimes we don't get storms or anything because of the bluffs. but yes it isn't good. it is good that tornado's are rare where you live, even though it is possible to to still get them.
@Unicorn: The worst thing that happens up here to worry about would be the white out blizzards in the winter, weather-wise. They can shut everything down. People die in them because they go out unprepared and stuff.

We also had horrible storms roll through last night. Luckily no tornado's but we had a sever thunderstorm watch for several hours. :vanora_sad:

@Millet: sorry to hear about that must have been scary. nope no word, I hope it went back up into the clouds and didn't do no damage anywhere. it can be freaky sometimes I must say even heat lightening is creepy. but thank you my little unicorn, and I stayed safe as always.
@Fozzy: this weather has been nuts, we have flash floods all over the place, it is still storming outside. and on top of all of that a heat advisory until Wednesday night. glad you stayed safe from the bad storms. hopefully it don't storm bad for you anymore.
@Totalanimefan: I was sort of freaking out on the inside so my little Unicorn couldn't see how scared I really was. her daddy went outside he saw the wind change directions and the rain too. it is a some guy thing where they must go see if a tornado will come through.but we were all safe he got creeped out by the weather.
