Ash's eyes widened, and his jaw dropped.

"You OWN it!?" he exclaimed.

"W....w-wow." he stammered.

"That's... that's just... holy crap." he muttered.

"That's amazing." he told her.

"That rocket was supreme quality."

"...I knew I could feel fire mana in that rocket..." Ash mumbled, upon reflection.

"But damn... that thing was really amazing." he said.

"Seriously. Nothing has quite worked like it. It's set an unreachable standard." he told her.

"Ah... right. Yes." he then muttered.

"Moving my stuff." he said, clearing his throat some.

"I should get on that."

"Yeah, I'm interested." Ash responded.

"Very much so." he told her.

"And... well, there's not much in specific that I need help with." he admitted. "Just... everything in my apartment can be moved into one of the rooms." he said further.

"One of the bedrooms, that is." he clarified.

"I just need to get it all out of there and give my 2 months notice."

"Well, it WOULD streamline things." Ash admitted.

"Come on, I'll take you to my place." he told her.

"Get everything out of there, then talk to Emma, get things rolling..." he mumbled further.

"Right." he said with a nod.

"Let's go then, I suppose."

"Ah, right." Ash responded.

"Rent." he said.

"What do I owe you?" he asked, taking out a chequebook?"[/b] he asked her.

"First and last, obviously." he said.

"And what are we looking at for the price?" he asked.

"625 Euros a month or so?" he asked further, before pausing, and thinking about something for a moment. "Er... 950 bucks a month?" he clarified.

Ash raised an eyebrow when he heard that.

"Seriously?" he asked.

"Sweet deal." he said.

"That works for me. Pretty nicely." he commented.

"And... Lindsay..." he then mumbled, thinking for a moment.

"When will I see him?" he asked her.

"How often is he around?"

Ash just chuckled.

"I'll be fine." he told her.

"I'll make sure to furnish the other rooms, too." he said.

"Just lemme know when it's time to pay the piper, so to speak." he said further.

"Beyond that... I need to get some things cleared, and try and get the adoption through." he went on.

"Not sure how long it'll take, but it takes as long as it takes." he added with a sigh and a shrug.

"Hm." Ash muttered.

"Well, some would be extremely against it based on... you know... our last name." he said.

"But Emma will be backing me. That's a LOTTA pull." he muttered.

"Regardless, I'll mention both you and Lindsay as people living here." he told her.

"Being a Hunter, I'd need to make sure someone was always here to take care of Desiree, in case I'm away for extended periods." he went on.

"Which is... well... almost the norm, sometimes." he muttered.

Ash nodded in response.

"Right. See you later." he told her.

With that, he disappeared in a burst of familial black flames, appearing in his office at the guild.

He then made his way down towards the medical wing, where he stepped through the doors and looked around. He walked over towards the closed door of Emma's office, and knocked.

"Emma?" he asked through the door.

"You in?"

Ash paused when she asked her question.

"One day, Emma." he said. "One day." he repeated.

"And she's fine." he told her.

"She's... yeah, she's... she's fine." he said, just seeming to realize it, himself.

"Anyway, I want to talk to you about Desiree." he then said.

"Specifically... well... uh... adopting her." he mumbled.

"Could that be... a thing?" he asked.
