Hello everyone!
+1 Slytherin, here.
It was no good. I mean I've been told that the actual play does a much better job and that it doesn't feel as much like a bad fanfic when actually on stage, but I still don't think I really want to see it. And that is such a hard thing for me since Harry Potter is such a major part of my life.
1. Horrible name.
2. Worst people to name your kid after.
- Albus raised Harry like a pig for slaughter. Even if Harry didn't "really" die.
- Severus was a literal ass to Harry and other students forever and had literally been a wad of dicks in his childhood. Even called Lily a mudblood. (Hoe. Call me that to my face, I'll punch your nose straight.)
3. HORRIBLE NAME
lol
@Nalight: Welcome to Hogwarts! :D

Well, I still like it and the two he named them after. -shrugs-

My hate for Albus Severus comes from the fact that, as much as I loved Snape as a character as a kid, looking back he's super, super, super creepy. His real life equivalent would be a NiceGuy dudebro who joined the KKK after he called his black childhood friend a slur but it's okay, guys, he's a good guy because he really, really wanted to bang her and that excuses decades of child abuse in the classroom to the point that one of his students, when faced with literally his biggest fear, saw his image. Like, in a world with dementors and dragons and a literal mass murderer and his cronies who tortured Neville's parents to insanity, he's got this super up close and personal look at this evil, Neville was afraid of his school teacher.
And that's the guy that Harry named his son after.

See...I hear the name and just think of either the wacky Dumbledore comic, or A Very Potter Musical....soooo.....
@dragoness129: After popping on there. I realize I did post with a new post with Pinkie. XD
@Slytherclaw: THANK-YOU

I'm not sure I've ever been told welcome to Hogwarts before xD
Later this month a town near where I live is having their second ever comic convention. A roastery there is going to make their shop into the Leaky Cauldron and I can't wait to go and enjoy some Harry Potter themed goodies!

Min - Yeah, I did read that, but had never replied.

@Anarchist Beauty: Lol, alrighty then. I dunno, I used to love everything about him growing up, but that was largely because Alan Rickman's voice makes me melt, and reading the books with an adult, informed eye is like...holy crap. I used to think this was romantic?
Sort of like how I felt when I reread Twilight as an adult and could finally formulate why it made me so uncomfortable when I was younger.

Drat, too far away from me. :vanora_cry: I am in Pennsylvania myself.
Yes! Alan Rickman was a WONDERFUL Snape :vanora_heart:

Hey! I'm from PA! What's your general area? Philly/Pensatucky/Pittsburg?
I grew up outside of Philly, went to school in Lewisburg (middle of nowhere), and I'm getting married by Lake Harmony -w-
Although I live out of state now x3

@Slytherclaw: RIGHT
OH MY GOD
It's all Alan Rickman's fault.
He was too attractive, his voice too fantastic...
He made us all irrational.
And i had the same issue with Twilight.
I loved it, and then it was a few years, and then I reread it and I was like "WHAAAAAAT is this CRAP?"
I live in Cali, and all my online friends are everywhere else. lol

I am about an hour away from Erie to the North and Pittsburgh to the south. In the middle of nowhere myself.
