Wow, same. I am a master at wondering why things won't turn on and then realizing that they aren't plugged in.
I used to live in an apartment complex where the floor plans were all the same on each story. I was extremely tired after coming back from classes, and I didn't realize that the elevator stopped on the 2nd floor instead of the 3rd floor. I make my way to what I thought was my front door, open it (yes, the door was unlocked), and then walk into literally someone else's apartment. No one was home, but I stood in there for a good 5 minutes wondering when my roommates decided to redecorate the place before I realized that oh my god this isn't my apartment

@Hachi: I had a neighbor walk into our apartment recently with her big dog... seconds after I had finally decided NOT to sit around nude. She seemed a lot more confused than I did, poor thing. I no longer sit around with my door unlocked, even if my husband is home...
