I am super duper TIRED of people pulling fire alarms in my apartment building
like so done, it's rude annoying rude and nowhere near comical
it's a safety hazard and it wastes firefighters' very valuable time and efforts

Ugh sorry to hear that. I hope you'll be able to find the culprit and teach them a lesson...

Reminds me of when I used to live in college dorms. Fire alarms pulled so often that you could hear one going off every week, somewhere in some dorm building. Some of us were unlucky enough to have to be forced outside at 2am the night before an exam. It was awful.

I honestly feel really bad for the firefighters that have to deal with these people's shenanigans.
I remember I ran into a firefighter once while I was exiting a fire-alarmed building on campus. He gave me a really long, exasperated, sarcastic rant about there actually being a real fire (there wasn't). At first I was like "??? why me" but I get it. It makes their job really frustrating. This isn't what they signed up for when choosing their profession.
