What the hell photobucket

I am sure most people know about the photobucket saga of blocking all direct links unless you payed them hundreds of $. Well it didn't end well so they enabled direct links again and lowered their prices. I've stopped using it. But I now saw that photobucket puts an ugly pb overlay on all your uploads. So basicly your pictures hosted become unusable. Sample here:

@Selikait: i like it pretty well. tis free, easy to upload to and organize things into albums.
i also like that when i upload something it keeps the file name in the url,
unlike imgur or gyazo when i upload something i'll get random letters/numbers in the url.

Photobucket used to be the 'go to' back in the day.
Now it's just yikes, there's other free photo hosting platforms idk how they think
they can survive likes this with how obnoxious they are about everything. :x

I've had photobucket for literally years, and it's just spiraled downwards the entire time. So much so I've abandoned it almost entirely over the past 3 or so years.

Sad thing is, I still have stuff I need to remove from there.

How long has that whole watermark thing been around? Glad they know how to compete with similar companies!
