Granted all of us are essentially breaking the rules by saying the new direction is crap.

I wouldn't put it past them. Negative feedback has always been discouraged on Solia, but now it really is against the rules. They just really don't want to admit that they royally fucked up.

They should've told us this was going to happen.

It's been obvious for a while now that Case hasn't had his heart in Solia, which is something that he should've admitted to. I mean I get it, they've been running Solia for over ten years. Of course they'd eventually get bored with the same ol' same ol' all day every day. This was not the way to deal with that problem.
@Another Movie Addict: but they did anyway... hope for them that they have a back up plan for themselves.
I hope they do too. Like I don't care for the changes, but I don't want them to become like homeless or anything.
I'm not entirely sure how they're keeping a float now. And did they ever do any of that stuff from their fund raisers? Like giving people the art, items, whatever the incentives were.
@Another Movie Addict: some items were made, not by Dekk, and there have been the user scratch cards, but that was it

I didn't know much about the Solia thing until I read this thread lol! I wouldn't be surprised if they're reading some of Votra's threads....I know they creeped on Saph and were reading all the posts after everyone jumped ship >_>
