Kinda broad question, but i'll spill what i know. soory for the barf:
If it's a headshot or bust on the side of a post, it is called a "flob".
If it's those cute, pixel bar things on top and bottom of posts, you can google "kawaii pixel border" for more.
Pixels in signature...idk. I think signature art is just referred to as "signature art."
But in the pixel community, if it's a character (human or not) it may be called a "sprite".
