It had been about two weeks since the incident, and Dante was outside in the courtyard 'practicing' with his scythe, one of the church brothers standing by to watch him. "Dante, focus!" The slightly older male voiced as he watched the scythe miss the practice dummy. This one was different from the other in hopes of helping Dante use his sixth-sense. Dante paused and leaned over himself some to catch his breath. They had been at it for three hours, and little progress was made. "Lay off! I don't need your 'encouragement' brother." Dante growled in slight annoyance. He looked anything but exhausted, and was sweating from the constant 'practice' as Father Richard called it.

Dante smirked at the sudden voice, immediately sensing his sister's 'aura' as she approached them. The other male flinched slightly at the sound of her voice and glanced at her. "It's Father Richard who assigned me to watch over him while he practices." He said in a bit of a panic as Aria placed a hand on her brothers back. "Also, I wouldn't--" The brother went to warn her about touching him, but Dante had already stiffened some from her touch before sitting on his knees and using his scythe to practically hold himself up. "...Your brother is a little sensitive to ones body heat.." The brother murmured quietly. Dante growled some. "I'm taking a break with Yuri before you and the father put me in an early grave." He mused as he slowly forced himself back up.

Dante shook his head lightly and put the scythe back in its holster, on his back where he always had it. "No sweat." He murmured quietly before taking her hand and leading her away before the other guy could say anything more. Force of habit. He paused once he realized he didn't know where he was going, and looked down. "...what's the point in practicing if I'm not getting anywhere?"

Dante was quiet as he listened to Sayuri. "The training is to better my sixth sense.. But.. A dolled up practice dummy isn't really helping any." He said with a slight smirk. He raised his head some when she spoke next. "Leave..? Yuri.. Where would we go?" He asked, actually afraid of being left behind. "..and besides, no one is forcing you to practice." He reminded her casually, before looping an arm around hers.

This was why he loved Sayuri like a sister, that and having grew up with her as an orphan. She wasn't afraid to voice her thoughts and opinions. She had a voice, whereas Dante had seemed to have lost his voice. He didn't really talk to anyone about anything, except Sayuri. He didn't even give the Father a hard time when telling him what to do.. Dante sighed some and lowered his head. "..don't let me hold you back, Yuri." He murmured quietly.

Dante lowered his head when her voice dropped to a more serious tone. "Yeah..okay.." He murmured quietly, managing a small smirk as he lazily draped an arm around her shoulders. "I don't need anyone else.. They're all the same sorry excuses for exorcists. If Father Richard didn't have us, he'd have to shut down the damn church." He said.

Dante relaxed against Sayuri some, before wrapping his arms around her. "You weren't even there.. The client got in the way and I had to keep the idiot from getting attacked. No way was it your fault.." He said after holding her for a moment. Her aura..really felt nice. He pulled away when he heard footsteps and raised his head some. "Father?" He murmured quietly, curious as to why he had sought them out. "I have an assignment for you two, together. Think you're up for it?" Dante slowly reached for his scythe. "Are you kidding me? I can't even hit a stupid dummy.. How am I going to assist with a job?" He asked quietly. The older make smiled some. "I have faith in you two."

"It involves children. No one else can get it done and ensure the safety of the children." He explained. Dante lowered his head some. He'd go with whatever answer Sayuri gave him.

Father Richard glanced at Sayuri and nodded some. He explained that it was a trickster kind of 'demon' that liked to seep into the minds of two children and the parents noticed their kids acting 'different'. It should have been a simple job. "Draw it out, and destroy it, but keep the children safe." He finished saying. Dante lowered his hand from his scythe and smirked some. Tricksters were easy to sniff out, even for him after the incident.

Dante waited downstairs for his sister as he heard her run up the stairs. She usually had everything they needed when they went on jobs together. Even his eye medicine for just in case his eyes started to bother him. Luckily, it ha dnt happened in a while, but better safe than sorry. He shook his head when she came back and lightly patted his head. "I'm sure you have everything we need. Let's get going."
