@Onyx Popcorn: true but food is good ; n ;
I'm trying to make skinny desserts but ugh the real things are so much better @.@
@val: wow sign me up for that temp! XD
We deal with it with layers and heaters XD
Forums General Chit-Chat how's your winter going?
@Ixora: I've just been trying to swap over to less processed stuff, since I seem less lethargic when I do that. ^^ A mix of rice flour, whole wheat flour, and almond flour seems to work well for cake, for example
On the upside, one of my pals just bought a restaurant and unpricegouged it, and it's around 12 degrees C around here for a few days. :3

I need to speak to your manager.
It was overcast and nearly 70 degrees out today. That was the only good thing about my whole day. I hope the weather doesn't change, even so I know it likely will.
This is unacceptable.
@Onyx Popcorn: ahhh... I'm trying to cut carbs from grains from diet but it is hard. So I've been having mostly veggie carbs - gonna try my hand at making zucchini pasta soon.
Nice! What kind of food does the restaurant serve?
I want 12 C weather ; n ;
@the horror: shaaaaare the waaaarmth

- Most of the winter here has either been dry or rainy. We haven't had much freezing weather until recently. The area got about 6 inches of snow. Some of it has melted since then, but there's a lot of ice in areas where it refroze. We're supposed to get more snow between Friday and Saturday. The weather forecast is saying it could be anywhere from 4 inches to a foot. For where I live that is a lot of snow.
@Ixora: Zucchini pasta is lovely. It's definitely its own thing, but I like the texture. Goes really well with marinara & a little parmesan (if you like cheese)
Also, since you said you were missing desserts. This thing is a little expensive to make (you could easily substitute some stuff though since it's no-bake), but I've had something similar and it was BOMB. I couldn't find the recipe for the thing I had, so this one will have to do. D; The main ingredients are cocoa/cacao, avocado, coconuts, and enough nuts to make your wallet cry. (Would recommend downsizing lol) Mousse Cake It's a raw vegan recipe, but it doesn't have to be raw or vegan, haha!
No pressure to try it, though. I dunno what you do like to eat and don't.
They've got mostly dairy stuff (it's call a "dairy bar" XD), so it's like everything for milk drinks to milkshakes, along with some pretty good sandwich selections. The tenderloin is as big as my head and really needs to be downsized

I have many issues, gender things among them
I also have a ballet obsession and an unhealthy interest in Sonic the Hedgehog games. Take as you will, haha!
@ me, yo!

@Wisp: welcome to Voltra and nice avi btw! Love all the pinks!
Have you been wishing for more snow? If yes, then yay for you! XD
The rain is a bother really... I learned that people here don't really use umbrellas @.@
@onyx popcorn: I do like cheese! I'll have to buy a few things to go with it but I haven't decided what yet. Tonight I'm just having a spinach omelette for dinner.
Thanks for the advice and I'll have to look into the recipe. There aren't any coconuts here but the avocados come at an okay price. Yeah nuts are expensive - sad really cause I love pistachios ; n ;
Wooow! That sounds fun though and that sounds like a big tenderloin @.@

- @Ixora: Thank you!
I kinda do want more snow since it's really pretty seeing everything covered in snow, but I'm also not looking forward to it since it's been making work slower than usual. So far it hasn't impacted the hours I work, though that could change.
People don't really use umbrellas where I live either, but it also rains a lot and sometimes without warning.
I need to speak to your manager.
@Ixora: you gotta come get it; i don't wanna lose any >.>

ALWAYS PING ME
@Totalanimefan: hi Total! :D
Wow, I don't even notice that stuff but then again I'm usually home before sun down but that does sound exciting!
@wisp: that's true. Growing up in a tropical country, I thought snow would be all fun and pretty but it's not ; n ;
Oh, then I hope it doesn't change your work hours o:
I find it weird that people don't use umbrellas @.@
But sometimes the wind is so strong and I get it lol
@the horror: hoooow i'll be on my way DX

It's been sunny for me lately so it's a good change
@hazer: let's hope it stays that way :vanora_xd:

- @Ixora: I grew up in San Jose, California, so I was pretty much in the same boat. The only time I had seen snow before was when my family drove up somewhere in the mountains when there was snow.
Well I ended up getting an extra day of work last week since one my coworkers got into a car accident, although it wasn't major she did get a concussion and can't work for a few weeks.
This morning I woke up to a phone call from my boss asking if I could make it in and open. I told him I'd try, and once I backed out of my parking spot, I couldn't get moving anywhere. So I'm currently snowed in lol.
