@Tuijp: sorry to ask this, but what time did you, or do you have to stop eating and or having somerhing to drink and what time can you eat or drink again?

@Unicorn: no more food since midnight and until 2 hours before surgery I can drink some water.
When I wake up and feel like eating, I can eat and drink again.
@Tuijp: Ooh wow, I am sure that you will be very thirsty, and or hungry but everyone is different.

@Tuijp: I am so sorry that you have to wait so long to eat or drink anything but you can do it after surgery is your neighbor still taking you to the hospital, and is your brother still picking you up?

@Unicorn: my neighbour would take me to the hospital until he found out it was in Amsterdam... so I'm going there by public transport.
My brother is still picking me up tho
@Tuijp: is Amsterdam pretty far away from where you are living at. I am sorry that you have to go there alone, but I am glad to hear that your brother is still coming to pick you up.
