Ryker just laughed.

"No, she doesn't want to mate with you." he said.

"...I don't THINK so, anyway..." he muttered.

"She just wants you to live out your life as much as you can." he assured him.

"And cool. I was thinking of getting a fish tank, but they're a lot of work to maintain, and I do have a job." he went on.

"Think you might be able to take care of them for me?" he asked. "Maintain the tank and room and such?"

"......" Ryker was silent for a moment.

"Eke?" he asked.

"You... okay?" he asked further.

"Also, it wouldn't be too deep or anything." he continued.

"The deepest it would be is... like... maybe past your knees." he assured him further.

"If you'd be uncomfortable with it, we don't have to." he then added.

"......hm." Ryker muttered.

"I see." he said, his voice betraying the concern he felt.

"Is there anything I can do to help?" he asked.

He looked around a little, thinking about what they had, and if it could help.

"Or is there anything here that CAN help..." he muttered

"Got it." Ryker responded, before disappearing to get her.

Sure enough, about a minute later, Aly rushed into the room.

"Eke!" she exclaimed.

"Eke, stay calm." she told him.

"Do you need an ambulance?" she asked.

"Or do you think you have time for me to whip up something to counter this?"

Aly nodded.

"Yes." she replied.

"Just lay down on a couch and relax. I'll be able to make something up to help normalise things." she told him, as Ryker showed up.

"I'll help get him to a couch." he offered.

"And coffee did this to him, if that helps." he added.

"It does." Aly replied with a nod, before going to get to work.

"It's okay." Ryker said.

"You just had something that disagreed with you." he told him.

"Aly's whipping up something to help with that, you heard her." he went on.

"It was an honest mistake, and it'll be taken care of." he continued.

"For now, just try and hold yourself together, yeah?"

After a minute or so, Aly came back with a glass of water and a tablet.

"Here." she said to Eke.

"Take this tablet and drink the water." she told him.

"It'll feel fizzy in your mouth and stomach for a moment, but it should start to help soon after." she went on.

Aly just smiled and returned the kiss.

"I"m glad that helped." she said.

"Just relax for the next half-hour or so." she then told him.

"You'll be tip-top shape in no time." she smiled brightly.

"No intense activities or anything."

"Well, I was gonna, yeah." Ryker replied.

"Dragon girl?" Aly asked.

"Eke'll tell you." Ryker said, before stepping outside and making his way to the roof.

"Right." he muttered.

"Time to see if she's still here." he said, reaching the roof and looking around.

"Ah." Ryker responded.

"He's... okay." he said.

"Apparently coffee doesn't agree with him, but Aly made up something that countered it." he told her.

"So... yeah, he seems okay." he went on.

"More or less." he continued.

"...I mean, given his circumstances, he's doing quite well."
