Ryker couldn't help but laugh.

"You've tuckered yourself out." he said.

"Let's get home." Aly suggested.

"Yes, let's." Ryker agreed.

"Eke, just take it easy, we'll have plenty to talk about later." he told Eke.

"For now, just concentrate on here and now." he suggested, starting up the vehicle again, and pulling back out onto the road.

"Oh... and what you may want to do over the next few weeks." he added.

They made their way back home, and Eke was put to bed.

Afterwards, Ryker made his way down to where the girls were, and sighed.

"Seems I'll be away for a bit." he told them.

"Travelling with Eke." he continued.

"I think this is something he needs." he went on.

"And I think it'll do me good as well."

"I'll still keep in touch, though." he told her.

"Even if just a few times a week." Aly commented.

Ryker paused for a moment as Arissa ran her fingers through his hair... and both women saw him practically melt into a puddle of contentment, making weirdly happy gurgling noises.

"OooHhhHhhhhhHhh yeah..." he murmured.

"Yeah, that's nice." he said.

"That's REAL nice." he mumbled further.

Aly just giggled.

"Turned to butter." she said to Arissa.
