Forums Serious Talk I feel like trash
my nose is running, and stuffy. my throat is irritated but not like super sore. its just all over frustrating
ugh I hate feeling that way! Have you taken any allergy meds? tree pollen is really high here. 
the only thing i have is benadryl and that makes me sleepy
eek yeah, and you'll have to deal with the benadryl fog when you wake up.
Sometimes, I'll take the stuff you're supposed to put in a humidifier and put it in the shower with me. it clears up my nose for a little bit!
My mother-in-law swears by some mixture of apple cider vinegar and honey "tea". I haven't worked up the courage to try that one yet.

@Mousy: ew yuck. well ill jsut have to deal. i dont get so much a fog but i CANNOT take it while my kids are awake. last time i did, hubs was home thankfully but i had lay down to rest, and i passed out for like 2 hours
@TheGreatPretender: ah yes allergies..the bane of my existence. Try to find the source of the allergies and eliminate it if you can. Air filters might help if it's airborne
@Saeyra: im allergic to mountain cedar...which are the trees all over where i live. but im now sure its a full on cold so fun!

it's times like those that make me wish i just lived in a bubble. allergies are THE WORST.
not just because of sniffly noses, but because from experience they can also develop into sinus infections.
or you could get post-nasal drip, which rubs your throat raw. NOT a fun time.
and sometimes it gets so bad, allergy meds don't even work.
it's an embarrassing hassle.

@TheGreatPretender: aww i am sorry to hear that. I don't have experience with trees allergies. Mostly food, metals and airborne stuff like dust and pollen.

have you tried claritin?
i dont have too bad of allergies, but it's always helped me when i needed a non-drowsy antihistamine...
